Which deal type should I use?

Pick the one that matches how you deliver value. Each uses the same bonus tiers so customers share to unlock more, and you just choose what they get at the end.

Gift card
Digital gift card

Customer pays now, gets a code by email when the deal ends. You add the bonus to the card value. No shipping, no inventory.

Example: $50 deal → 10% bonus → they get a $55 gift card to spend at your store.

Cash-only
Discount they use in person

Customer pays a small fee on Bambooey now, then pays you the rest (discounted) when they show up. Great for in-person services or pay-at-counter.

Example: $2 fee now → they come in and pay you the discounted price (e.g. $48 on a $50 service with 10% bonus).

Product
Physical item (pre-order or in stock)

Customer commits now; you charge and fulfill when the deal ends (ship or have them pick up at your location). Use pre-order if it’s not in stock yet, in stock if you fulfill right after.

Example: $100 product with 15% bonus → they pay $100 at deal end and get $115 value; you fulfill (ship or pick up).

Service
Service or experience

Same as product: they commit now, you charge when the deal ends, then they book or show up. Perfect for classes, events, or appointments.

Example: $80 massage with 10% bonus → they pay $80 at close, then book; value is $88.
